Subject intent
The intent of our curriculum is… | To develop our students beyond sporting specifics and equip them to become successful individuals within our community. |
Excellent practice is implemented by… | -Engagement, participation and enjoyment -Opportunities for all our students -An inclusive curriculum and extra-curricular programme -In every lesson we aim to ensure every student experiences success in some form -Provide a culture where students celebrate success, participation and individuality -Remove any barriers that are preventing students from engaging with Physical Activity -The provision and implementation is crucial in developing our life long participants at all levels, we strive to develop successful sports people but also want to encourage activity for life. -Have a contribution towards the development of successful members of the community- this is through the building of social skills and interpersonal skills |
