World Book Day at HPA

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]There have been lots of activities happening at Hans Price Academy to celebrate World Book Day 2017, and inspire young people to read. As per tradition at Hans Price, Staff Dress up as a book character, and students have to complete a number of activites throughout the day.

Students have taken part in a book based quiz in Learning Family, completed a “Character Hunt” throughout the day to work out who each member of staff is and why they chose that character. After school the top readers, borrowers and book enthusiastswere invited to attend a reward party in the LRC.

Miss Allchurch, Librarian said “There has been a huge buzz about books all days long. I’ve overheard dozens of conversations about reading and have been astounded by knowledge and passion students have demonstrated.
