Hans Price students visit Rolls-Royce in Filton

Year 11 students from Hans Price Academy were given the amazing opportunity to visit Rolls-Royce in Filton last week and take a tour of two of their world-class facilities.
Students were able to see both the fabrication area (where engine parts are made) and the repair section were engines that are in service around the world are returned for servicing/repair.
During the visit, the Hans Price group were able to gain a unique insight into the cutting-edge world of engineering and aerospace technology.
They also had the chance to meet and talk with first- and second-year apprentices, asking them about their journey into the world of engineering and what inspired them to pursue a career at Rolls-Royce.
