Hans Price students gain hospitality industry insight

Year 10 hospitality and catering students from Hans Price Academy recently enjoyed an exciting and informative visit to The Bristol Hotel, where they took part in an engaging workshop and a behind-the-scenes tour of the hotel’s facilities.

During the visit, students were warmly welcomed by members of the hotel’s professional team, who shared valuable insights into careers within the hospitality industry and the wide range of roles available in a hotel environment.

The interactive workshop allowed students to explore key aspects of hotel operations, including excellent customer service, food preparation, and the importance of teamwork in a fast-paced, professional setting.

Students were encouraged to ask questions and reflect on how the skills they are developing in lessons can be applied in real-world hospitality scenarios.

The visit provided an inspiring opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of the hospitality and catering industry and to see first-hand how classroom learning translates into professional practice.

Hospitality and catering teacher Miss Cole said: “The visit provided a valuable

opportunity for students to see their learning brought to life and to gain inspiration for future careers in hospitality and catering.

“We would like to thank the team at the Bristol Hotel for their time, enthusiasm, and warm welcome, which made the experience both informative and memorable for our students.”
