Hans Price students enjoy memorable ski trip

A group of students from Years 8 to 11 at Hans Price Academy embarked on an unforgettable ski trip to Passo Tonale, Italy, enjoying a week filled with memories that will last a lifetime.

Students were greeted by breathtaking mountain views of the Dolomites, and Passo Tonale proved to be the perfect destination, offering a wide range of slopes suitable for all abilities. Whether complete beginners or more experienced skiers, every student had the opportunity to develop their skills and confidence on the slopes.

Each day began with ski lessons led by professional instructors. Beginners quickly mastered the basics, while more advanced groups refined their technique and explored more challenging runs. By the end of the trip, the improvement across all groups was remarkable, with instructors particularly impressed by the progress made by the beginner groups throughout the week.

Beyond skiing, the trip offered a variety of evening activities that helped to build friendships and create lasting memories. Students enjoyed quizzes, bingo, a pizza night, and time to relax with card games.

Staff were extremely proud of the students, not only for their effort on the slopes but also for their behaviour throughout the week. They represented the school exceptionally well, showing resilience, encouragement, and kindness towards one another.

A spokesperson for Hans Price Academy said: “This trip was a fantastic opportunity for our students to challenge themselves, learn new skills, and experience a different culture.

“We are incredibly proud of how they supported one another and embraced every aspect of the trip. It was a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.”
