Hans Price students celebrate GCSE success

Students at Hans Price Academy in Weston-super-Mare achieved well across a broad range of subjects in their GCSE exams.

School leaders say the success is the result of students’ ‘determination’ and ‘high aspirations’ – which will now see them progress to a wide variety of post-16 studies.

Adrian Esch, Principal at Hans Price Academy, said: “It has been a pleasure to welcome our Year 11 students back to collect their GCSE results and celebrate the achievements of this year’s cohort. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished during their five years at Hans Price Academy.

“These results reflect the commitment, resilience and determination shown by our students throughout their time with us. They have overcome challenges, embraced opportunities both inside and outside the classroom, and demonstrated the ambition needed to achieve their goals. Their success is richly deserved and represents the culmination of five years of hard work, perseverance and personal growth.

“We are particularly pleased to see strong outcomes across a range of subjects, with many students achieving grades that will enable them to progress confidently to their chosen post-16 pathways. These outcomes reflect the sustained improvements we continue to make as a school and the dedication shown by everyone in our academy community.

“I would like to thank our staff for their expertise, enthusiasm and commitment, and our families for the strong partnership they have shared with us throughout their child’s journey at Hans Price Academy. By working together and maintaining high expectations and aspirations, we have created the conditions that enable our students to thrive and fulfil their potential.

“Most importantly, I would like to congratulate our students on their success. They should be immensely proud of what they have achieved, and we wish them every success in the years ahead.”
