Dear Parent/Carer,
Bridgwater College Taster Day –Wednesday 1st December 2021
I am pleased to inform you that your child has the opportunity to attend a Taster Day at Bridgwater College. The trip is a compulsory part of our careers curriculum and all students are expected to attend. The day will support your child’s decisions about the direction they would like to take after they leave Hans Price Academy.
The Taster Day will take place on Wednesday 1st December and will give students the opportunity to find out about courses available to them. The students will be supervised by Bridgwater College staff on the day but there will be Hans Price Academy staff on site during their visit.
We will travel by coach, leaving Hans Price Academy from 9am and will arrive back at the academy at 3pm.
Students will need to bring a packed lunch. If they receive a Free School Meal we will provide a packed lunch for them. Students will be expected to wear school uniform on this day. Our Ready to Learn expectations will apply.
Please can you complete the attached permission and medical form and ensure it is returned to the Academy by Thursday 25th November. Should you have any queries about this trip, please do not hesitate to contact me at school.
