Year 9 Parents’ Evening – Thursday 10th February
Dear Parent/Carer,
I am writing to inform you that our Year 9 Parents Evening will take place online on Thursday 10th February between 4.30pm and 7.30pm.
Since we are unable to host this evening in school at the moment, we will continue to use our online parents’ evening system called ‘SchoolCloud’, which can be accessed through your web browser on PC or mobile device. You will receive a text message to inform you when appointments can be booked. Please see the information overleaf which explains how to book an appointment.
Where teachers have multiple classes, appointment booking may be limited. However, you will receive a “Progress Report”, which will give you an overview of your child’s progress in each subject, as well as their overall attendance, homework completion and conduct. Teachers will initially be inviting parents to discuss their child’s progress if there is a cause for concern, or if the teacher wishes to discuss their subject as one of their KS4 options. You can also contact your child’s College Leader if you are unable to book an appointment and have any concerns.
How to book an appointment
Once you have received a text message, please visit https://hanspriceacademy.schoolcloud.co.uk/ to book your appointment.

You will need to log in with the following information:
- Your name & contact email
- Your child’s name & date of birth
All of these details will need to match the details we have for you and your child in our Data Management system (SIMS), so if your login fails in the first instance, please check your SIMS Parent App contact details section. Initial login difficulties are usually limited to those associated with legal names and preferred names (for example, Eleanor versus Ellie).
If you do not have the SIMS parent app, please email [email protected] to request an activation code. By registering for the app, you will also be able to view your child’s latest progress report, as well as make any changes to your data such as updating your contact details, or any medical / dietary needs for your child.
