Year 7 – Tutor Evening 12th October ’23

Dear Parents/Carers,

I am writing to inform you that our Year 7 Tutor Evening will take place in person at the Academy on Thursday 12th October between 4:15pm and 7:15pm.

This event will allow you to meet your child’s Tutor and discuss their start at Hans Price Academy. We are looking forward to talking with you and your child about how they have settled in, celebrate their achievements so far and discuss their attendance, punctuality and conduct. It will also be an opportunity to share information with you about assessment arrangements and homework for Year 7 and allow you to ask any questions you may have.

Our SEND and Safeguarding teams will also be available for drop-in conversations throughout the evening.

How do I make an appointment?

Appointments are booked online through School Cloud but meetings will happen at the Academy, in your child’s Learning Family room, where they see their Tutor every day. Please visit https://hanspriceacademy.schoolcloud.co.uk/ to book your appointment. In the event that the Learning Family Tutor is fully booked at the time you are available; a member of the Extended Leadership Team will be available to meet instead. You can access School Cloud from any internet-connected device, such as a phone or tablet. You do not need to download an app.

You will need the following information to login:

  • Your name
  • Your contact email
  • Your child’s name
  • Your child’s date of birth

All of these details will need to match what we hold for you on your Bromcom parent profile. Should you experience any difficulty in signing in, please contact a member of the reception team who will be able to ensure the information being entered matches what we hold.

If you have any queries about the arrangements for this evening, please do not hesitate to email [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 12th October.

Yours Sincerely,

Miss Rachel Allchurch

Year 7 Raising Standards Leader
