Year 7 – Meet the Tutor Evening – Thursday 6th October

Dear Parents/Carers
I am writing to inform you that our Year 7 Tutor Evening will take place on Thursday 6th October 2022 between 4:15pm and 7:15pm.
This event will allow you to meet your child’s tutor and discuss their start at Hans Price Academy. We are eager to talk with you and your child about how they have settled in, celebrate their achievements so far and discuss their attendance, punctuality and conduct. It will also be an opportunity to share information with you about assessment arrangements and homework for Year 7 and allow you to ask any questions you may have. Our SEND and Safeguarding teams will also be available for drop-in conversations throughout the evening.
Please visit https://hanspriceacademy.schoolcloud.co.uk/ to book an appointment with your child’s tutor. Bookings will open on Monday 26th September at 9am and close at 3pm on Thursday 6th October. You can access School Cloud from any internet-connected device, such as a phone or tablet. You do not need to download an app. There is a video parent guide to the School Cloud system, available here.
You will need to log in with the following information:
- Your name
- Your contact email
- Your child’s name
- Your child’s date of birth
All of these details will need to match the details we have for you and your child in our SIMS system, so if your login fails in the first instance, please check your SIMS Parent App contact details section. Initial login difficulties are usually limited to those associated with legal names and preferred names (for example, Eleanor versus Ellie). If you do not have the SIMS parent app, please email [email protected] for instructions and an activation code.
