Year 11 Parents’ Evening – Thursday 30th March
Dear Parent/Carer,
I am writing to inform you that our Year 11 Parents’ Evening will take place on Thursday 30th March between 4.15pm and 7.15pm.
All students have recently completed their PPE exams and will be receiving their results in time for Parents Evening. This event will allow you to meet with your child’s subject teachers and discuss the progress they have made and next steps in order to prepare for their final GCSE exams in May.
How to book your appointments
Please visit https://hanspriceacademy.schoolcloud.co.uk/ to book an appointment. The booking system will open at 9am on Monday 20th March in advance of Parents Evening, and will close at 3.30pm on Thursday 30th March. You will be able to book a 6 minute appointment with each of your child’s subject teachers. Maths, English and Science appointments will be on the first floor (we advise booking these subjects together) with option subjects in the main hall on the ground floor.
You will need to log in with the following information:
- Your name & contact email
- Your child’s name & date of birth
All of these details will need to match the details we have for you and your child in our Data Management system (SIMS), please check your SIMS Parent App contact details section. Initial login difficulties are usually limited to those associated with legal names and preferred names (for example, Eleanor versus Ellie).
Post 16 Application Support
As part of our “March Guarantee” at HPA, we will ensure all students in Year 11 receive a 1:1 guidance meeting with our Careers Advisor, Mrs Fielding where they will be supported in their applications for Post-16. Should you have any queries about your child’s options based off their PPE results, Mrs Fielding will be available in the main street during the evening.
Please see this link Year 11 – Dates for the fridge 2023 which details key dates for students. If you have any queries about Parents’ Evening, please do not hesitate to contact your tutor in the first instance. Alternatively, you may contact me using the email address below. Your support for this occasion is important to us as an Academy and we really look forward to speaking with you.
Yours sincerely,
Miss Sian Angell
