Year 11 GCSE Results Day Letter
Dear Parent/Carer,
Year 11 students are invited to collect their GCSE exam results on Thursday 24th August between 10am -12 noon. If your child is unable to collect these personally, they must contact the school in advance by emailing [email protected] (preferably from their school account) to advise who will be collecting them. The named person must bring photographic ID to receive the results.
Staff will be available on the day if your child has any queries, worries or concerns about their results. Mrs Fielding, our own Careers Advisor will also be able to support these conversations as well as a number of Post-16 representatives should students and families wish to discuss their options. Please ensure your child gets all the advice they need before they leave the Academy.
Alumni & Destinations Tracking
Part of our promise at Hans Price is to ensure we continue to support our students in their Post-16 and further education journey. To do this, we will kindly request students’ personal mobile numbers on results day so that we can keep in touch, both to invite students back into the academy as a HPA Alumni and to track their destinations. Students are always welcome back to the Academy to see Mrs Fielding should they ever need any careers advice.
Work Experience
We have had many past students return to us and gain some work experience by volunteering to work at the Academy in their favourite department. If your child is interested in maintaining their link with us, by doing some work experience and boosting their CV’s alongside their college commitments, then please ask them to speak to Miss Angell in person or by email.
