Year 10 Parents’ Evening letter
Dear Parent/Carer,
I am writing to inform you that our Year 10 Parents’ Evening will take place on Thursday 9 March between 4:15pm and 7:15pm.
Your child has recently completed their PPE exams and will be receiving their results in time for Parents Evening. This event will allow you to meet with your child’s subject teachers, discuss the progress they have made and the next steps to prepare them for their next set of PPE exams which will be held in the Summer.
How to book your appointments
Please visit https://hanspriceacademy.schoolcloud.co.uk/ to book an appointment. The booking system is open now and will close on Thursday 9th March at 3.30pm. You will be able to book a 6-minute appointment with each of your child’s subject teachers. Maths, English and Science appointments will be on the first floor, with option subjects in the main hall and nearby classrooms.
You will need to log in with the following information:
- Your name and contact email
- Your child’s name and date of birth
All of these details will need to match the details we have for you and your child in our data management system (SIMS), please check your SIMs Parent App contact details section. If you experience difficulties this is usually associated with legal names and preferred names (for example, Eleanor versus Ellie).
Other information
Where teachers have multiple classes, appointment booking may be limited. However, you will receive a “Progress Report”, which will give you an overview of your child’s raw mark achieved in their most recent PPE, predicted grade at the end of Year 11, as well as their overall attendance, Independent Study completion and conduct. You can also contact your child’s College Leader if you are unable to book an appointment and have any concerns. Our Inclusion Team and College Leaders will be in the Academy during the evening, but you will not be able to book appointments with them.
Work Experience
In addition to the usual teacher appointments, there will be an area where you can get information and discuss your child’s Work Experience which is taking place the week of Monday 20th March.
Yours sincerely,
Miss Charli Dale
